MENAGERIE RUGBY CLUB
WHO WE ARE
The Minneapolis Menagerie Rugby Club was founded in 1986 under the original name of the "Heebe Jeebe's." The club officially latched onto its definition of "a collection of wild animals on display" when it changed its name to Minneapolis Menagerie Rugby Club in 1989. The team colors are purple, black, and white.
Menagerie's current membership includes both active players and social members. Active players range from ages 18-55 and are active in everything from healthcare and legal work to communications and community organizing, and everything in between. Menagerie is also a gender-inclusive team and has a strong commitment to developing a more equitable future for everyone. This diverse team is dedicated to playing high-quality rugby, strengthening rugby in Minnesota, and having fun!
