Menagerie Rugby Scholarship Fund

Since it's inception, Menagerie Rugby Club has been dedicated to strengthening women's rugby in Minnesota. Last year Menagerie implemented an annual scholarship for a selected area high school female rugby player who meets preset criteria including continued participation in rugby throughout her college years. The scholarship is presented at the Minnesota Amateur Rugby Foundation annual youth banquet in the spring.

This scholarship is a great way to give back to the rugby game and community. Since 2007 was the first year, the scholarship started at $200. I am greatly hoping we can dig deep this year and through generous contributions from our members we can offer a larger scholarship or maybe even award this to more than one college bound rugger!

In addition to what the team is contributing to this fund, this year, Tracy has graciously offered to match membership donations!!!!!! Now is the time to donate, donate, donate!!!!! A few dollars from everyone plus Tracy's matching will make this scholarship a success!!!! More...
