Menagerie Rugby Scholarship Fund

The 2010 scholarship committee is pleased to award this year's check to Sarah Buchmann, a graduate of Minnetonka High School. At MHS, Sarah maintained a 3.4 GPA, taking challenging courses like AP Calculus and French IV. She balanced school activities like rugby, the math team, and volleyball, with her jobs at Culver's Navarre and Lifetime Fitness. Sarah was also active in her community and volunteered to tutor both first graders and her peers that were taking Higher Algebra and Chemistry classes.

This fall, Sarah will attend the University of Denver, with a major in Psychology. She would like to become a child psychologist/therapist some day.

We are honored to present such an accomplished young woman with this scholarship and wish her the best of luck as she heads off to college.

Each year, the scholarship amount continues to grow, thanks to the generous support of Menagerie players, friends, and family members. This scholarship is a great way to give back to the rugby game and community and every dollar counts!
